What is chiropractic?
The modern, science-based chiropractic is focused on treating illnesses or injuries of bones, joints, muscles, tendons and fascia by using specific manipulations and physiotherapy.

Generally, the activities of a chiropractor may be characterised by three main activities:
• assessment and analysis of supporting structures and organs of movements,
• implementation of different methods of manual therapy and physiotherapy and
• compilation of a personal problem-specific set of exercises.

The chiropractor uses several methods of manipulation. One difference compared to osteopathy and naprapathy is the usage of high velocity low amplitude manipulation. Manual manipulation improves blood circulation in the problem area and the cooperation of nerves and muscles as well as decreases the production of excess joint fluid. The therapy lessens pain, improves the extent of joints movement, muscular strength, movement or walking pattern, balance and posture. For sportsmen the therapy improves the punctuality and strength of movement performance, decreases the risk of injuries and may thereby result in improved achievements.
An essential part of chiropractic is to design exercises that meet the demands of the patient and to compile a personal training schedule. The role of a chiropractor is to change an easy exercise personal and effective by using professional knowledge.
