Viimsi SPA has very good gym conditions: professional variety of fitness equipment, many different cardiovascular machines, a professional instructor for advice. All fitness equipment is produced by Arcoman or Johnson and specially chosen to train all muscle groups. We have a great selection of cardiovascular machines. Our guests can use cycling ergometers, treadmills, elliptical trainers, air rowers and the help of our friendly instructor.

AQUA hall 

 

AQUA fitness hall is a 114 m2 hall on the second floor of Viimsi SPA. It is meant for aerobics lessons, shaping lessons, yoga lessons etc. The hall has a modern sound system for the comfort of bigger groups and a resilient wooden floor to save legs at jumping.

Aerobics means doing cyclically repeating exercises with music. Aerobics uses most part of all muscles.

Les Mills BodyPump is a 60-minute muscle endurance workout. People perform efficient power exercises; there are no combinations of different steps. The workout makes use of different weights, thus making it possible for each person to train with a suitable load. It is ideal for changing the composition of your body. It improves the tone of the muscles fast and lowers the fat percentage of the body. It is suitable also for the beginners and for men and women alike!

Les Mills BodyBalance is the workout for the body and mind where different movements and exercises are performed with calm and relaxing music playing on the background; the exercises and movements have been worked out by the best yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates specialists available.

The workout session improves the posture, firms muscles and reduces muscle strain and stress.

In addition to that the Bodybalance lesson develops coordination and concentration abilities and balance. In addition the correct breathing technique is taught and practiced. The workout program and music are exactly the same for the duration of three months. The workout lasts for 60 minutes.

Deep stretching is a muscle-stretching lesson that lasts for 55 minutes that resorts to different stretching methods. BodyFit is an aerobics lesson aimed at muscle training. Each lesson begins with warm up, followed by a short aerobic part lasting for about 20 minutes.

When in the aerobic part eh main focus in on the muscles of lower body, the last part of the workout session trains the muscles of upper body.

The lesson is also suitable for the beginners.

 

PowerMix session is for the advanced as it requires good physical form and coordination. The aerobic part lasts for about 25 minutes and is followed by muscle training.

The session ends with stretching.

 

PowerBody is a more intensive aerobic lesson focusing on muscle training.

The training session begins with warm up followed by a shorter aerobic part lasting for about 20 minutes. The second half of the workout session is focusing on muscle training. The lesson ends with stretching.

 

BasicStep is a workout lesson based on using a special step-bench. The height of the bench is adjustable in accordance with the need. Several combinations of steps onto the bench and down provide the participants a proper charge. The session starts with warm up followed by a relatively simple combination of steps. At the end of the lesson there is a short session of muscle training and stretching. It is suitable for beginners.

 

Step&Core – warm up exercises are followed by a shorter aerobic part (20

minutes) where different combinations of steps are performed on average level of strain, stepping onto the bench and down. The second part of the session is focusing on the "CORE" or the middle part of the body where all the muscles of the body are trained efficiently and in a balanced way (involving rectus abdominis and obliquus abdominis and erector spinae and side muscles). Stretching takes up the final part of the session. It is necessary to register in advance!

 

StepBurn is a session of step aerobics involving elements of dancing of lower intensity and a longer aerobic part followed by exercises for the abdomen muscles. The session ends with stretching exercises. Since the sessions of StepBurn are conducted with moderate intensity and a longer aerobic part (40 minutes.), it is possible to compare it with the workout of fatburning and it is ideally suited for burning fat.

 

Dance Aerobic is a dancing session of aerobics that is based on steps used in aerobics. The sessions are conducted to different styles of music that makes each lesson differ from the other. Latino rhythms are used alongside renowned pieces from musical performances and modern hits. It is above all suitable to those who love dancing, but it is also a golden opportunity for other people interested in aerobics to escape everyday routine. At the end of the session there is a short workout of the abdominal muscles and stretching.

 

LatinoBody is a cheerful workout to Latino rhythms that combines different steps from dancing and aerobics. The movements used in Latino originate from the Latin American dances like samba, mambo, cha-cha, rumba etc.

The combinations of steps are mobile and the workout is enjoyably rhythmic and emotional. This session develops the sense of rhythm, coordination, helps you learn to sense your body better. The workout suits everyone and prior ability to dance is not necessary. At the same time the workout is brisk and contains a 15-minute part of power exercises.

 

Fatburning is an aerobic lesson conducted at a low rate of pulse. The session starts with a short warm up followed by a longer than average, approximately 40-minute aerobic part. Since the aerobic part resorts to relatively simple combinations of steps, the sessions also suits perfectly for beginners. The abdominal muscles are trained fro approximately 10 minutes before stretching.

 

Pilates is a complete harmony between the body, mind and disposition. The workout is based on the technique of Joseph Pilates with the three main goals being:

- firming weak muscles;

- improving the quality of movement;

- learning proper breathing.

It is a complete set of exercises that develops both body and mind, improves coordination and concentration. Pilates helps acknowledge one’s posture and movement, it makes us more active and stronger, it activates metabolism and adds energy. The peculiarities of the Pilates method is that majority of exercises are performed while lying down. Pilates suits both men and women, for all age groups and for people of different stages of fitness!

 

Tibetan yoga is based on the ancient rituals of Tibetan lamas. The essence of these exercises is in influencing the chakras or the energetic centers of the body. Performing these exercises makes it possible to maintain youthfulness, health and vitality irrespective of your health. The energising and rejuvenating effect of the exercises is based on the fact that performing the set of exercises helps restore the normal turning of the chakras.
